Dr. Austin Stitzer
Austin Stitzer D.V.M. was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He did his undergraduate education at Arizona State University and then moved to Texas to go to Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating in 1999 he moved back to the Valley of the Sun, and worked as an associate Veterinarian in the valley that helped him refine his skills, learn reproductive medicine and other specialties.
Dr. Stitzer has been in business since 2003, and ensures that his hospital offers compassionate and friendly service with excellent medicine. He prides himself on his wonderful staff, and the knowledge and care they offer on a daily basis. He is amazed with the passion his associate doctors possess, and the great but fair medicine they practice. Dr. Stitzer became a veterinarian not only for his love of animals but for the personalized bond they create with humans. He tries to continue this philosophy through his hospital.
Dr. Stitzer is blessed with an adorable boy named Chaz who is his entire universe. He enjoys the outdoors, sports, and is an avid traveler. He is a die-hard Aggie fan, but will definitely see animals with owners from other conferences.
Dr. Adrianna Olivera
Adrianna Olivera D.V.M. was born in Tucson, AZ and grew up in the greater Phoenix area. She received her Bachelors in Biology from the University of California Santa Cruz. She then moved to Kansas to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian, graduating from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She started her career in Corpus Christi, Texas practicing as an Emergency and Critical Care veterinarian for her first two years. In 2018 she returned home to Arizona to be closer to family and became established at Vistancia Animal Hospital.
Dr. Olivera is kind, caring, and compassionate towards her patients and clients. She always offers the highest quality of care and believes in practicing gentle and fear free handling. She has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and pain management.
Dr. Olivera has two pets, a feisty Chihuahua named Yaya, and mellow cat named Chip. Outside of the hospital she enjoys spending time with family, kayaking, and camping. In her spare time she likes music and interior decorating.
Dr. Theresa Grandys
Dr. Grandys was born and raised in central Illinois. She received her Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University. She graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Dr. Grandys practiced small animal medicine in Illinois for a couple years before relocating to sunny Phoenix a few years ago.
Dr. Grandys spends her free time exploring Arizona, cheering on her favorite teams (Go Green!), traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
While she enjoys all aspects of medicine, Dr. Grandys has a special interest in surgery, preventive care, and hospice/end of life care.
